When the glasstec trade fair opens in Düsseldorf from October 23 to 26, 2018, Bystronic glass will showcase innovations and trends in the fields of architecture, automotive and display glass manufacturing at booth A51/A52 in Hall 14. And abide by the motto of "Join Our Top"."

The motto of this exhibition is well known, because visitors to the Bystronic glass booth are waiting for a unique "sports challenge". What kind of event highlights, we will not reveal this secret now.

Bystronic Glass will showcase more than 50 years of experience in providing innovative glass processing solutions for the architectural, automotive and display glass industries in an exhibition space of more than 1,000 square meters.

There will be some restrained on-site mechanical demonstrations every day, allowing visitors to gain an in-depth understanding of the fascinating technology. Partner HEGLA will once again appear on the adjacent booth, allowing customers to easily discuss with experts from both companies.

Bystronic glass sealing robot jumbo'sealer is a solution for sealing the largest size and efficient IG unit. The core is its dynamic mixing system. Compared with static mixing systems that are very common in the industry, dynamic mixers work with significantly reduced material pressure.

With a flow rate of up to 6 liters per minute, it can also provide the largest volume of material. Therefore, compared with other machines on the market, jumbo'sealer can even seal the deep spaced grooves of rectangular units. With the XXL version, it is possible to seal glass with a length of 18 m and a total weight of 10 tons-this is suitable for stepped IG devices with up to 4 sides.

It also differs from other sealing robots in the glass industry in its automatic material change system, which allows operators to change the sealing material within two minutes without the operator-for example, from polysulfide to silicone. In addition, there are a variety of lower clamp options in the unloading area, which supports the removal of the fully sealed Jumbo device.

Bystronic Glass uses the new multi'arrisser, which will provide a fast and user-friendly solution for high-quality crimping of straight glass edges. Bystronic glass still excels in its proven cup wheel technology, ensuring the best quality at low operating costs. The cup wheel individually adapts to different edge geometries of rectangular and special-shaped formats.

High-quality low-e glass can be processed without touching the coated surface. Due to its compact design, the multi'arrisser requires a small footprint. It can be used as a stand-alone solution or integrated into the IG production line, while providing a wide range of applications in tempering, lamination or IG manufacturing.

Another new product of Bystronic glass is spacebender MULTI, which is an economical solution, especially suitable for bending warm-edge spacer profiles with heating angles. In addition to these products, aluminum and warm-edge mixed profiles can be processed automatically. Its flexibility highlights the characteristics of spacerbender MULTI, that is, it can handle different spacer types, spacer thicknesses and required colors without modifying tools.

In addition, due to its user-friendly guidance, spacerbender MULTI is impressive with its perfectly shaped and warm-edged gaskets with no radius 90° heating corners. This proven technology is based on a patent from Lombarda Macchine SAS. In addition, the machine also won a modern design designed by the famous DESIGNPF (Pforzheim School of Design, Germany).

Bystronic glass will showcase a new generation of processing equipment for efficient flat glass and sheet processing through B'VACOOM. This generation of newly developed machines represents the successful combination of traditional equipment manufacturing and digital transformation. In actual use, we call it Bystronic glass 4.0.

The integrated load control ensures that the appropriate maximum weight can be lifted. Through automatic vacuum control, the suction cup displays the final vacuum loss. If the required weight of vacuum is no longer available, the suction cup will immediately close.

In addition, the new generation of B'VACOOM can also achieve predictive maintenance. The integrated sensor intelligently signals important changes in the suction cup or other vacuum generating components.

The ergonomic design and the well-proven rigid guidance minimize the operator's workload. The newly designed touch screen provides simple machine operation and numerous analysis tools, such as daily output. Higher security provides password protection for B'VACOOM processing equipment to prevent unauthorized use.

Now it will redefine the profitability of automotive glass and display glass processing. At glasstec 2018, Bystronic glass will show B'CHAMP WS, a complete unit for windshield pretreatment. 

The B'CHAMP device can quickly and accurately cut, crush, grind and drill automotive or display glass to 0.4. Mm glass thickness.

By optimizing the key components of glass processing in a linear manner, space is subtly saved. This results in up to 50% reduction in floor space, transparent and continuous material flow, simple installation and improved maintenance possibilities.

Improved accessibility to key components and support for software-based innovation have significantly reduced conversion time. For glass producers, this means shorter model change times, simplified maintenance, and the highest flexibility associated with automated single-piece production.
